Screaming Females
Screaming Females
Formed in New Brunswick, NJ in 2005, Screaming Females is Marissa Paternoster (guitar, vox), Mike Abbate (bass), and Jarrett Dougherty (drums). Over six albums and more than a decade of music making, the band has remained deeply individual and steadfastly DIY. They have also grown into one of the most dynamic and devastating touring bands going today.

Out February 23rd 2018, All At Once, is the trio’s most expansive and imaginative work to date -- a double LP that swings between surreal miniatures and and solo-heavy sprawl. Concision takes a backseat to experimentation, with arrangements meant to evoke the energy and spontaneity of their live shows. It's music built across a timeline that's longer than our internet-enhanced moment typically tolerates and a testament to the band's dedication and perseverance.
Moor Mother
Moor Mother
Fetish Bones is the Don Giovanni Records debut of Philadelphia-based musician, artist, and activist, Camae, who performs under the name Moor Mother.

The album features 13 songs conceived and recorded in Camae’s home studio using a variety of machines, field recordings, and analog noisemakers. The music is often harsh and strange, projecting both the visceral anger of punk and the expansive improvisatory spirit of Sun Ra. It’s an album intended as a form of protest and also as form of time travel -- a collection of sounds that are events themselves, telling stories rich in history about the journey that brings us to today and the future we are creating. Fetish Bones is not an album meant to help you forget. It is made so that you will remember the injustices that we bear witness to and participate in.

A prolific voice in the Philadelphia arts community, Camae has digitally released more than a dozen EPs as MoorMother since 2012. Additionally, she has performed in the punk band, The Mighty Paradocs and is also the co-founder of Rockers! Philly, an event series and festival focused on marginalized artists. More recently, she has been an active member of Black Quantum Futurism Collective, a literary and artistic collaboration with Rasheedah Philips (The Afrofuturist Affair).
Psychic Teens
Psychic Teens
Written during a flurry of creativity immediately following the completion of their last LP, PSYCHIC TEENS return with HEX: a five song EP that showcases their unique blend of post-punk, goth, shoegaze, and noise rock. With HEX, PSYCHIC TEENS set to capture the sensory overload of their live show -- colossal guitars and ear-piercing volume --and combine it with the gloomy mood they have brought on their previous three LPs.
Ronnie Vega
Ronnie Vega
Ronnie Vega is a West Philly MC who grew up as much on Wu Tang Clan and Cypress Hill as he did on Nirvana and Black Flag and has never quite made sense anywhere. For the last few years he has been backed by a grimy bass and drum duo. Together they have recorded a demo, played loads of underground punk shows and hip hop cyphers and toured the Northeast. He continues to write, collaborate, record and get high.
