About Laura & Greg
The two met in 2013 at Greenpoint's Manhattan Inn and quickly hit it off over a late-night scoop of vegan ice cream. When asked if she could do an American accent, Laura (who is Australian) said no, but that she could do a pretty good Disney imitation & sung a few lines of The Little Mermaid. Greg, who had been looking for someone with whom he could start a new music project, was impressed, and the pair had their first band practice a few days later.
Peter & Craig
Romantic States
Romantic States
Romantic States is Jim Triplett and Ilenia Madelaire from Baltimore. They play raw and skeletal lo-fi rock songs that are sincere, vulnerable, and haunting. Romantic States forge their path with little more than guitar, drums and voice but their success lies in what they achieve outside of these components. Immeasurable as these things often are, there's a sense of melodrama that bleeds out of their songs.

Releases include a cassette on DZ Tapes and an upcoming 7" Single on Nebraskan Coast.
Sour Spirit
The Unconditional Love
The Unconditional Love: Dima Drjuchin and Martín Celis; life-long, native New York friends whose noise is an open-invitation; equal parts Dinosaur Jr, Otis Redding, kraut, tremolo, and maracas.

Their output is colorful, and with good reason: they've been directly tapped for visual work by Marc Maron, Father John Misty, Wes Craven, Maria Bamford, Reggie Watts, Brendon Small, and Tom Scharpling, among others.

The first UL recordings name-drop soon.
