Hawk Tubley & The Ozymandians
Hawk Tubley & The Ozymandians
Hawk Tubley started his music career playing CBGB with The Hæmorrhoids in New York City. Throughout the 1990s, he lived in Birmingham, Alabama, where he honed his songwriting skills playing around the Southeast with such bands as Eat More Possum, the Green Eggs and Partial to Mabel. In 2011, he released his first solo album Cooking With Dynamite!, which featured contributions from renowned bassist Oteil Burbridge and the Sun Ra Arkestra’s Marshall Allen.

Hawk Tubley & The Ozymandians will be celebrating the release of their new album, Pond Kings In April, a genre-bending mix of indie rock, cowboy folk and good old-fashioned rock ‘n’ roll, featuring exceptional songwriting and Hawk Tubley’s distinctive voice, with Andres Villamil on bass, Mike “Luxor” Szekely on drums, and Andy “Major Headspin” Davis on the electric guitar.

Rachel Eve
Rachel began writing songs on a swing set in her back yard in central Pennsylvania, making up simple melodies to help process childhood experiences both poignant and mundane. These musical ideas and musings left as quickly as they came, and she did not start writing down and sharing her music until she moved to Philadelphia in 2007 to get her graduate education in music therapy. Rachel writes and sings from a place that is at once personal and universal, drawing from her own experiences and observations of the world around her and the oddities and mysteries of human behavior. Several of her songs have been directly inspired by experiences she’s had working as a music therapist in a community mental health center. Rachel released her first EP Wishing Well in 2011 which can be found on bandcamp and reverbnation. She is working on a full-length album that she plans on releasing early 2018.
