Score ONE For The Kids : Batlles All Ages @ JBs

We are very excited to deliver you the following news. After almost two years of constant badgering and complaining about how our shows at Johnny Brendas are 21+ we are happy to make a one time exception for a very special show.
As you may know BATTLES were booked to play Johnny Brendas on June 15th and the show proceeded to sell out extremely fast. Lot's of people were bummed and scalped tickets were found on the internet selling for "lots of moneys". It sort of made sense - seeing this would be a rare and special opportunity to see Battles in such a small, intimate room with awesome sound + lights etc.
After a few weeks of deliberation with the generous and amazing support of both Johnny Brendas and Battles - we decided to attempt a special all ages show.
So for "one night only" (well more like one afternoon) : the upstairs of Johnny Brendas, Philadelphia's best small venue, will be open to those of all ages!
Again we stress that this is a one time event and very likely to never be repeated again (it just happened that everything fell into place) . Please do not expect this to be a precedent, please do not ask us to book more all ages shows there, please do not ask Johnny Brendas to book all ages shows etc. Johnny Brendas is a bar and are doing us a huge favor for this one time only.
Please also note for those Battles fans who are 21+ and were shut out from purchasing tickets to the later evening Battles show - the bar downstairs will remain open as well as a smaller balcony in the venue portion (so you can still goto the show and get your drink on)
