THE PUNK ROCK FLEA MARKET - SUMMER EDITION !
It's that time again for the semi-annual (twice a year) PUNK ROCK FLEA MARKET. Our most popular reoccurring event/show/whatever (by far). A day of fun with over 2500 visitors (!) and 100 tables of vendors. Now with a brand new air conditioning system! All proceeds raised will goto the purchase of necessary equipment and supplies to ensure that all ages shows continue to remain a reality at The First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia - mainly the remaining payment for our new liability insurance policy. Do not let the name lead you to believe that it's just punk records, clothes etc. - it's a full on flea market with everything from furniture, to laptops / computers , to stereo equipment, to handmade apparel, to vegan treats, information from various non profit groups, book stores, artists selling their work, bicycles & skateboards and whatever else we can fit onto the ballroom floor at The Starlight Ballroom. In addition to the normal flea market stuff there will also be a full bar and food service kitchen to make the day go by a little faster
Interested In A Table - Please Read The Following :
1) For the first ten days (may 21st to june 1st) we are ONLY allowing registration for peoples old "items" / personal possessions etc. If you create, sew, bake, stitch, screen, record, press, print any sort of new item for sale - you must wait till AFTER June 1st. Further more if you are a BUSINESS that sells old stuff (like vintage clothing, record distro or shop) - you must also wait till June 1st. This is to ensure the Flea Market remains "A Flea Market" vs A "Craft Fair" (which we are working on!) or just another location for someone's retail shop.
Attn : Tricksters we are keeping track of this - and if we find that you are selling new scarves and registered before the 1st - we will kick 'ya out! The same applies for record stores, record labels and distros. THE FIRST REGISTRATION PERIOD IF FOR INDIVIDUALS SELLING THEIR OLD STUFF ONLY
2) This year we are introducing two pricing levels. One for people's old junk (as mentioned above) and one for businesses such as clothing companies, screen printers, vintage shops or people that have stores on ebay etc). Tables for individuals are $65 for a full table (still not to shabby - again 2500+ people came through the door last year). Half tables will be $45. For businesses : full tables are $80 / Half Tables are $60. Not sure what you are ? Get in touch!
3) We are ONLY allowing reservations to be made online (we are no longer doing in person "tickets") - it was just way to confusing to keep track and created the biggest most confusing mess ever. Sorry!
4) We provide the tables and chairs. If you have a specific request please e-mail us with it at : sean at r5productions dot com We don't mean to sound like jerks, but some sellers act like crazy people and try and work around these "rules". So we want to VERY clear and precise. Thanks for registering and we appreciate your support !

We Can ONLY Except Online Payments For The Tables - Sorry !

so i won't lie, i've been to like 6 of these goddamn flea markets, and have bought some really cool stuff. however, i'm a packrat which means that in 4 years living in philly, i've accumulated way too much crap. i was hoping to sell a bunch of that crap at this summer's flea market, but once my friend announced his fucking wedding was going to be the 28th of june, i could just tell that would be the date that this flea market was. goddamn him! goddamn wedding!
seriously, though, the prfm's are cool.
do you guys provide those garment rack thangs for folks selling clothes or did those belong to the vendors?
