New Box Office Location Finalized - One More On The Way !
The first of our new TWO box office locations has been finally announced! Our friends at AKA MUSIC located at 27 N 2ND St (2nd and Market) will be the first to begin selling tickets for us. Just like Spaceboy there will be no surcharge or additional fees. Ticket sales begin tomorrow (friday september 15th)
Once we finalize a new agreement with our ticket provider - we will have a second box office location announced. It will most likely be on South Street..

hey, just a suggestion, given the proximity of the new record store 'long in the tooth' at 20th and sansom to the church, any chance of getting a ticket location there??

this is welcome news , considering that spaceboy was a shitty fucking place. i'm really happy that it closed and that aka music can take their buisness. with all the r5 connections maybe you can bring some decent , free instore perforamces at upstairs aka? that would be very cool
i'm very happy that it's on market so i don't have to schlep all the way to south street for no reason other than tickets. to be more in the heart of center city is a good idea.

This is a good place if they would actually have the tickets ready to sell. I went down friday since that's when it was supposed to be ready and they werent. They said call back tonight or tomarrow, we will be ready by then. So I call the next day and they're not ready and tell me to call back again tomarrow. So I can again today and, what a suprise, they aren't ready and I should call them again tomarrow. I don't know what the problem is, but I hope it is fixed...

I just left (tues 2:47pm) from AKA.
I apologize for the delay, we are using a new computer and system over there and it freaked out on Saturday. This was the earliest I could get to it. All is well and running smooth. Tickets are back.

Just to plug a new mom & pop biz: long in the tooth is a GREAT fucking record store! they have plenty of rock and roll as well as other genres and subgenres of music. loated next to the Roxy theatre on sansom street between 20th & 21st streets, they sell LPs and CDs and even DVDs, etc. and yeah, i'm really pissed they opened LITERALLY the day i moved from 21st & ranstead to south philly. boo fuggen hoooo.
